One of the most effective method that helps to prevent spreading of viruses and bacteria are disposable masks. Fluid shielding of the masks increases protection against speech, cough and sneezing droplets. Masks should be closely connected with face, completely covering the nose, mouth and double chin. The employees of beauty salons should work with disposable mask during all cosmetic treatments, although it can change face and respiratory microbiom. Aim. The aim of the work was microbial analysis of disposable mask used by beauty salon specialists. Material and methods. The disposable masks were analyzed 1, 2, 4 and 8 h after its continuous contact with face. Rodact Contact Test agar plate for overall number of bacteria were used in order to collect material from masks. Bacterial colony on the plate were characterized. Gram-staining were done in order to differentiate bacteria to Gram+ or Gram-group. Results and conclusions. The longer the time using of masks much more differentiation of bacteria were observed. Wearing the masks for a long time cause the excessive amount of physiological bacteria from skin and respiratory tract and led to disease changes in test places.
