Skin aging is a complex, multifactorial process leading to loss of firmness and hydration and to the formation of wrinkles. Needle mesotherapy is a minimally invasive aesthetic-medicine procedure based on the intradermal delivery of active substances for skin revitalization. Aim. The aim of this study was a subjective evaluation of the efficacy and safety of facial needle mesotherapy, including an analysis of skin parameter improvement, the duration of achieved effects, the occurrence of side effects, and overall patient satisfaction. Material and methods. The study was conducted using the diagnostic survey method with an original questionnaire consisting of 26 questions. The study group comprised 50 individuals who had undergone at least one facial needle mesotherapy treatment. Data were collected from June to November 2025. Results. An improvement in skin hydration was reported by 100% of respondents and an improvement in firmness by 94%. The hydration effect was noticed most quickly - already after the first treatment - and most often persisted for 2-4 months. The most frequently reported adverse effects were transient and included erythema (48%), bruising (42%), and needle marks (36%). Satisfaction with the procedure was high, with 96% of the respondents declaring a willingness to repeat the therapy. Conclusions. Needle mesotherapy is an effective and well-tolerated method for improving the hydration and firmness of facial skin, representing a valuable option in cosmetology and aesthetic-medicine practice.
