This study evaluates the effects of aqueous-alcohol extract of the devil´s claw, in form of a fatless gel. Material and methods. Evaluation of the results of the study was based on the test on the "Beauty Scope" apparatus produced by Ionto Comed, a questionnaire carried out before and after a series of procedures and after an interview with the client. Results. It was demonstrated that the devil´s claw extract only slightly alleviated inflammations. After the series of procedures the skin was firmer, smoother and better moisturized. Conclusion. Gel alleviates skin irritations. This preparation is convenient to apply and exhibits a nice, delicate fragrance. Key words: acne-affected skin, inflammations, harpagophytum procumbens, ultrasounds |
