Troxerutin - a semisynthetic derivative of a flavonoid rutin. Recently used in care of vascular problems. It has a protective effect on the vessels and anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effect. Aim. The aim of the work is to present the effectiveness of preparations with troxerutin in the group of people with vascular complexion. Material and method. The study was conducted in the form of a survey on 50 people, both women and men in different age groups. They were carried out among customers of beauty salons. There was no one under 18 year of life in the study group. Results. From 50 respondents who declared that they used a preparation with troxerutin up to 49 people would recommend a preparation with this substance to persons with vascular problems. The preparation with troxerutin would not be recommended by only one person. Of the 49 people who positively evaluate the effect of troxerutin as 29 noticed the sealing of blood vessels in the affected area. Reduction of erythema occurred in 26 people and increased hydration appeared in 11 subjects. Lasting effects were noted by 49 people, but one person who speaks negatively about the preparation, replied that she had not noticed the effects of using the troxerutin cosmetic. Conclusions. Preparations with troxerutin are indicated for people with vascular problems. They exhibit many beneficial activities such as: sealing the blood vessels, reducing erythema, increasing hydration.
