Summary
Collagen as the basic structural protein, which is the element responsible for tissue elasticity and strength. Biosynthesis and biodegradation processes that constantly occur in the body allow you to maintain the right amount of collagen. With age, the amount of collagen begins to decrease, which is manifested by a loss of elasticity and visible wrinkles. To counteract and eliminate the effects of collagen deficiency, collagen preparations are used, whose action is based primarily on moisturizing, improving skin elasticity, as well as deeper preparations that reduce wrinkles, scars, improve skin tone and its total revitalization. To obtain satisfactory results in the appearance of the skin, it is necessary to combine home care with treatments available in the beauty salon.

Key words: collagen, wrinkles, mature skin, moisturizing
