It is estimated that it was founded in the times of the ancient Sumerians or Egyptians. Since then, it has been used willingly by both queens and numerous actresses and singers. Lipstick composition includes waxes, oils, emollients, dyes and pigments. They determine its functional properties and aesthetic values. Recently, new natural cosmetics, i.e. herbal cosmetics, have been appearing more and more often. They are of great interest due to possible allergies or irritation caused by synthetic ingredients found in traditional lipsticks.
