Evaluation of the effectiveness of endermologie

Summary
Introduction. Nowadays there are quite a lot of different esthetic medical procedures which are aimed on body shaping. One of the most popular is endermologie.
Aim. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency of endermologie and to check what motivates women to undergo such procedures.
Material and method. The questionnaire study was conducted in the group of 50 females, who underwent the procedures endermologie. Women were aged from 18 to 56 years of age. The questionnaire included 24 questions.
Results. Most of respondents (41 female, 82%) as the main motivation indicated the willing of cellulite reduction. Almost all patients (48 persons, 96%) were satisfied with obtained results, and 45 questionnaired people (90%) would recommend endermologie to a close relative.
Conclusions. Endermologie is effective, safe and almost painless method of fat reduction and body shaping. This method improves skin appearance and has positive feedback on patients´ well-being.
