The glabella is one of the most dangerous anatomical zones on the face when performing minimally invasive aesthetic medicine procedures. Understanding the anatomy of the vessels in the frontal area is very important and helps reduce the risk of adverse events. In this study, we analyzed the available literature on selected aspects of adverse events when using fillers in the forehead area. We presented a description of the anatomy of this area in terms of performing minimally invasive procedures, the course of possible complications after the administration of hyaluronic acid, and discussed the procedure in the event of intravascular administration of the filler.
