Assessment of fat and stretch mark reduction in women aged 18 to 50 years at a cosmetology office

Summary
Introduction. Methods aimed at reducing adipose tissue work by inducing the process of lipolysis and eliminating the resulting metabolites from the body. Cellulite is fibro-edematous changes in adipose tissue. Stretch marks are caused by the destruction of collagen and elastin fibers.
Aim. The purpose of this study was to evaluate methods of reducing fat and stretch marks in women aged 18 to 50 years in a cosmetology office.
Material and method. The study was carried out on a group of 49 women between the ages of 18 and 50. The research work was carried out using a self-constructed survey questionnaire consisting of 24 questions.
Results. The most common treatments chosen by the women surveyed were those that reduce cellulite and excess body fat. The decision to undertake the treatments is mainly influenced by complexes. The women surveyed declared that they most often use treatments such as carboxytherapy and injection lipolysis. Injection lipolysis, endermologie and carboxytherapy are the most effective and most frequently chosen methods for eliminating excess fat, cellulite and stretch marks, according to the women surveyed. Most of the respondents undergo home care with various active ingredients at least once a day.
Conclusions. Among the most effective and most common methods of fat, cellulite and stretch mark reduction chosen by women are treatments such as injection lipolysis, carboxytherapy and endermologie.
