Summary
Entering the perimenopausal period marks the beginning of crucial changes in every woman´s body. Its simultaneous course with the natural ageing process can further intensify the troublesome symptoms characteristic of this period. The typical fluctuations in hormone levels during menopause negatively affect not only the general well-being and functioning of the body, but also the appearance.
The skin contains numerous estrogen receptors, which makes it particulary vulnerable to the negative effects of these changes. The key methods for preventing and mitigating the changes occurring during perimenopause include attuned daily home care and professional treatments. Prevention and regularity play a crucial role, as they can positively impact the entire process of menopause.
