Nowadays, most people strive to achieve a perfect appearance, as well as skin without wrinkles or discolorations. Rejuvenation treatments in the field of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine allow to reduce the signs of aging, and thus slow down its process. Currently, a wide range of them is available on the market, from gentle non-invasive treatments to injection treatments that affect the body in a more invasive way. These include, for example, mesotherapy, mechanical peelings, chemical peelings, cavitation peeling, carboxytherapy, fractional laser therapy, tissue stimulators, tissue fillers, botulinum toxin (BTX), or polydioxane thread lifting (PDO). Aim. The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge of women aged 18-50 about rejuvenation treatments in the field of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine. Material and method. The research was conducted on a group of 52 women aged 18 to 50. The research was conducted using a self-designed questionnaire consisting of 27 questions. Results. The most common treatments performed by the surveyed women were cavitation peeling, mesotherapy, chemical peeling, botulinum toxin and mechanical peeling. According to women aged 18-50, the most effective treatments in the fight against aging are tissue stimulants, botulinum toxin, mesotherapy and tissue fillers such as platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin. When it comes to what women are guided by when choosing a beauty salon and specialist, it is primarily the opinion of customers, the possibility of seeing photos or videos with the effects before and after the treatments, and the qualifications of the person performing the treatments. Conclusions. The most effective and most frequently chosen methods of reducing the signs of aging include treatments such as tissue stimulators, mesotherapy, botulinum toxin and chemical peels.
