Level of satisfaction of the beauty salon´s clients from E-light IPL+RF depilation treatment

Summary
Introduction. IPL device therapy is most often combined with radiofrequency (RF), i.e. electromagnetic waves of the frequency of radio waves. In the process of light absorption, light energy is converted into thermal energy through the movement of ions in the tissue, caused by the magnetic field.
Aim. The aim of the paper was to assess the satisfaction with the e-light IPL+RF hair removal treatment and the frequency of using the treatment in a group of beauty parlour clients.
Material and method. A questionnaire survey was conducted in a group of 100 people (94 females and 6 males) who had used or were currently using the E-Light IPL+RF epilation method. The age of the respondents at the time of the survey was between 18 and 60 years.
Results. Convenience turned out to be the factor which induced the respondents to use the E-light IPL+RF hair removal treatment. The vast majority of those who used the treatment were people with relatively intensive hair in the treated areas. Armpits, legs and bikini area turned out to be the most frequently indicated places of the treatment. 81% of the respondents noticed a reduction in the amount of hair in the treated area after the first treatment. 73% of the respondents would decide to use the E-Light IPL+RF epilation method again. Epilation with this method improved the comfort of life and well-being of as many as 79% of the respondents.
Conclusions. 1. E-Light IPL+RF hair removal treatment improved the quality of life of 79% of the respondents. 2. The vast majority of the respondents felt that this method was the most effective of all the hair removal methods used to date. 3. Most respondents would recommend E-Light IPL+RF to their friends and would undergo the treatment again. 4. After the first treatment, the majority of respondents noticed a reduction of hair in the treated area
