Daria Kaczmarczyk

Akademia Nauk Stosowanych Angelusa Silesiusa w Wałbrzychu

Summary
The care of young skin focuses on selecting the appropriate cosmetic products for cleansing, moisturizing, matting (depending on the needs), sun protection and gentle exfoliation. Skin care preparations should support skin conditioning and its functioning, supplement and support any dermatological therapies, and above all, not cause any irritation and dryness of problematic skin. The most common problems of young skin include: acne lesions, open and closed blackheads, pimples, papules, seborrhea, reddening of the skin, telangiectasia, acne scars, postinflammatory and sun discoloration, excessive skin dryness and peeling of the epidermis, milia, sensitive and allergic skin. Contemporary cosmetology offers a wide range of professional treatments using modern equipment (including: hydrogen purification, oxybrasion, oxygen infusion, cavitation peeling, microneedle mesotherapy) and technologically advanced preparations used in professional treatments. However, apart from specialist care carried out by a qualified cosmetologist, one should remember to follow the recommendations regarding everyday habits and individually selected home care.
