Pol J Cosmetol 2009, 12(1): 60-66pl,en  Synthesis and properties of cosmetic pigments based on natural dyesZygmunt Boruszczak Instytut Technologii Polimerów i Barwników Politechniki Łódzkiej Summary A synthesis of new cosmetic pigments was carried out by deposition of natural dyes: berberine, juglone, hematoxylin and betanin on aluminosilicate carrier JELTAR-100. The obtained pigment powders were subjected to resistance tests for the effects of water, sweat, organic solvents, high temperature and light. The results of those tests indicated good utility properties of the pigments of berberine and hematoxylin derivatives. Key words: cosmetic pigments, natural dyes |
