The application of therapy of cold in cosmetology, wellness and dermatology

Summary
Cold treatment they have already used the ancient Egyptians about 2,500 years ago. They found that cold give relieve at the site of injury and has anti-inflammatory effect. In the fifth century BC Hippocrates recommended cold therapy to reduce swelling and bleeding. Also observed that the cold has an analgesic effect. Already in ancient times women applied cold baths for the sake of their beauty.
Today it is known that cold therapy strengthens resistance, accelerates metabolism, improves circulation, adds health and energy. Currently, cold therapy is a physical method used in medicine, physiotherapy, rehabilitation treatments and cosmetology.
To present the current knowledge on the use of cold in the treatment of skin affected by lesions and healthy skin care and cosmetic defects affected. It is worth noting that the cold can be used inter alia in the treatment of haemangiomas, viral warts, or cellulite.
