Skin manifestations at patients with the anaphylaxis, hospitalized in the Chair and Clinic of Allergology, Clinical Immunology and Internal Diseases Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz

Summary
Introduction. The Anaphylaxis is allergic reactions threatening the life. It is coming into existence in the mechanism of immediate oversensitivity and is embracing almost all organs. In relation to the rapid growth of appearing of allergies the anaphylactic reaction constitutes the clinical relevant problem. To the most frequent causes of the appearance of the anaphylactic reaction foods, insects and medicines are being ranked. Repeatedly isn´t managing to establish them. Manifestations of the anaphylaxis concern the skin, as well as the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system and the digestive tract.
Aim. A statistical analysis of frequencies of appearing of skin manifestations at patients was a purpose of the work.
Material and methods. The examinations were conducted in the Chair and Clinic of Allergology, Clinical Immunology and Internal Diseases. The Ludwik Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, UMK in Toruń. 100 stories of illnesses of patients hospitalized with the anaphylactic reaction were provided with the examination, in 2005-2011 years. There were 56 men and 44 women amongst the research group.
Results and conclusions. On the basis of an analysis of the history of illnesses of patients we observed, that an angioedema and a nettle were the most frequent skin manifestation of the anaphylaxis. At women an angioedema more often appears, however at men nettle. Skin manifestations of the anaphylactic reaction most often appear at persons of 55-69 years, most rarely after 70. The anaphylaxis many times is manifested only through skin manifestations. The most frequent cause of the appearance of the anaphylactic reaction there was venom of insects and medicines. At the majority of patients of the examined group a moderate generalized anaphylactic reaction appeared. At some examined from anaphylaxis coexisting of other allergies was observed. To most numerous allergy to pollens of grass was included. At patients from anaphylaxis allergic reactions often appear at other family members, mainly in a straight line. With the anaphylaxis an arterial hypertension was the most frequent coexisting disease observed at patients.
