These substances fulfill many important functions in the life of plants. In cosmetics, initially used for beauty purposes, in the course of time they have gained importance as substances with protective and antioxidant properties, able to strengthen blood vessels and improve the condition of skin. Vegetable dyes, apart from color cosmetics segment, are also a component of skin care products.
